Sunrise Strawberry & Cream Smoothie

Sunrise Strawberry & Cream Smoothie

Three ingredients. Two minutes. One incredibly creamy strawberry smoothie. Ripe pear steps in to provide body and natural sweetness while the almond-coconut blend adds a subtle tropical whisper. Top with a sliced strawberry or a sprinkle of shredded coconut.

Recipe

- ¾ cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

- ½ ripe pear

- ¾ cup unsweetened almond coconut blend

Tips

1. Use frozen strawberries for a frosty smoothie. If using fresh, add 2–3 ice cubes to get the same chilled texture.

2. Choose a ripe pear that gives slightly when pressed. Bartlett or Seckel varieties blend especially smoothly.

3. Pour the almond-coconut blend into the blender first so the liquid pulls the fruit downward.

4. Freeze the pear pieces ahead of time for an even thicker, creamier result.

5. For a thicker consistency, reduce the almond-coconut blend to ½ cup. For a thinner smoothie, add a splash more.

Nutrition Notes

Strawberries provide about 70% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C per ¾ cup, plus ellagic acid, an antioxidant that may help protect against chronic disease.

Pear offers soluble and insoluble fiber, particularly pectin, which acts as a prebiotic to support healthy gut bacteria.

Almond-coconut blend combines low-calorie almond milk with MCT-rich coconut milk, creating a creamy base with only about 45–50 calories per cup when unsweetened.
